l 从宏观层面（全球大尺度）揭示水生植物（以泽泻亚纲为主）进化历史及生物地理历史，探讨古气候等非生物因子对其分布格局影响；从微观尺度（基因组学），解析水生植物特殊性状演化及分子机制； l 在对水生植物资源（以长江流域为主）全面调查的基础上，结合细胞学、生理生化方法等，评估水生植物代表类群生态修复价值；利用多组学手段，揭示其分子机制（如强重金属/新型污染物吸附能力等）； l 水生植物经典分类研究（侧重水鳖科*、泽泻科*、雨久花科*、天南星科等）
